The Aquabot Turbo T4 has been a powerhouse, but the company has decided to improve its performance and simplify controls in the new Turbo T4 In-Ground Robotic Cleaner. Almost everything you can find in the old-version is present including intelligent guidance system and extended G-Tooth but the remote brings new buttons layout for easier controlling.
The highlight in Aquabot Turbo T4 is its intelligent guidance system driven by an on-board microprocessor. As soon as it sits on the pool floor, the guidance system kicks in to measure and analyze the configuration and size of your pool. Microprocessor also controls the robot’s turning system and makes it follow computer-generated most efficient cleaning path.
You will not find it focusing too much on wall only, floor only, or stairs only because it cleans every part equally well. Every inch of the surface is scrubbed and power washed to loosen all the dirt and debris for quicker vacuuming and filtering.
It has two vacuum ports and an on-board filtration system that work together to prevent clogging. Aquabot Turbo T4 filters large debris such as form and sticks to small sands and dirt sized down to 2-microns. The robot can be set to work for certain duration from 1 to 7 hours. Regardless of the cycle, it vacuums about 75 gallons per minute.
Drive tracks are extended beyond the robots width. Such design makes sure it will keep on moving to scrub all parts of the pool including walls, stairs, and waterlines. The extended drive tracks also help prevent the body to make abrupt contact with pool walls, which may damage both the robot and your pool surface.
The Aquabot Turbo T4’s filters are customers’ favorites. With the ability to filter debris sized down to 2-microns, there is very little to none left in the pool after every cleaning. All the debris are stored inside the unit.
Another good thing is the proprietary NeverStuck roller design, which allows the robot to go over obstacles such as convex lights or floor drains. The package includes a caddy, 75 feet cable, and a remote control.
Unlike common directional remote control with 4-way buttons, Turbo T4 has only three of them with simple layout. Despite the NeverStuck roller and extended drive tracks, the cleaner is not designed to work on tile floors. However, it will run on any other surface. Read more customer reviews.

A trait of a dependable robotic pool cleaner is the ability to climb vertically along the pool wall, and Smartpool NC72RC does just that and more. The cleaner comes with a transformer box to reduce electricity to the unit while it is working in the pool. It has a filter that traps anything from dirt/sand, pine straw, leaves, acorns, and tree bark.
The Smartpool NC72RC provides three different cleaning programs including 1-hour cycle (fast Track), 3-hour cycle (Complete Clean), and remote control mode. In Fast Track mode, the robot performs floor-only cleaning, so it does not climb wall and focus instead on floor surface where most debris are located. Fast Track is slow, but it goes through steady cleaning pattern and shuts off after 60 minutes. [Read more]
